The crinkle of a folded page with tabs still ruffling the edges where it was torn out of a spiral bound notebook, the minty taste of envelope goo, the leaping of my heart as a thick envelope arrives.  I have always written letters.  Lately, it has been difficult to find the time to share my life and thoughts on paper, they just sit there half finished in a drawer and never get sent.  This is my sacrifice of paper and stamps for new “post” and links… this is my letter drawer.

The Sister of My Heart is my cousin, my most faithful correspondent since childhood and often the recipient of my letters.

Married to my high school sweetheart with two awesome fresh little souls in our family, our passion is being and making disciples of Christ no matter where we are or what we’re doing.  Costa Rica is the backdrop to our unfolding story and it has proven on a daily basis to be quite the adventure!

Hope to hear from you soon.

Your friend,

The Epistolarian

  1. I love writing real paper letters! It is a dying art to say the least. I have a few pen pals, but most have given in to email.

To me bloging, posting, is like an open letter “To Whom it May concern”.
    🙂
